It’s been forever since I updated, mostly because I had gotten out a lot of what I wanted to say, and partly because I’m lazy. But after today’s terrorist attack in Paris and the murder of twelve people who had the audacity to laugh at certain ideas, I had to write a quick post to say:

This is why you need to stop asking, “Why are atheists so angry?” This is why you need to stop asking, “Why do you care so much about what other people want to believe?” This is why you need to stop asking, “If you don’t believe in God, why do you talk about it so much?”
Those were dumb questions to begin with, if I’m being brutally honest. After what happened today – hell, after what happens every day all over the world – those questions are downright moronic and insulting.
Je Suis Charlie. Laugh as much as you can today and every day. Laugh at something offensive. Laugh at something silly. Laugh at something sacred. I dare you.
